Intravenous thrombolysis qualification and administration process

If a large arterial occlusion is diagnosed during the neuroangiographic study, the operator can then quickly proceed to thrombectomy. Moreover, irrespective of the presence of a large artery occlusion, at that moment the patient can be qualified for treatment with intravenous tPA. ACT = activated clotting time; aPTT = activated partial thromboplastin time; IV-tPA = intravenous tissue plasminogen activator; NCCT = non-contrast computed tomography; PCT = perfusion computed tomography; (*) Other Agents: Gp IIb/IIIa inhibitors and bivalirudin.
