Cerebrovascular localization diagnosis

The clinician, on recognition of the stroke syndrome, uses inductive reasoning to localize the lesion and match it to its corresponding vascular territory. This is confirmed by the ancillary imaging data and followed by integration of clinical and ancillary diagnostic data in order to deduce the prognostic implications and therapeutic opportunities available.
