Undated Russian or Soviet medical poster warning of the dangers of drinking methanol

The poster shows a blind man with dark sunglasses and a cane. А memento mori skull and crossbones looms menacingly in the background, warning of death. A chemical train car shows how large volumes of industrial methanol are transported. Translated text reads “DON'T DRINK METHYL ALCOHOL! METHYL (WOODY) ALCOHOL--DANGEROUS POISON. To taste and smell, this alcohol is similar to ordinary wine alcohol, but you can drink a small glass of it and that is enough to go blind and barely even die. Wood alcohol cannot neutralize anything--it is intended only for technical purposes. Warn your comrades!” (Courtesy of Wikimedia Commons.
