Cervical spine (normal MRI)

Sagittal T1 (A) and T2 (B) images were obtained in a 43-year-old female with neck pain after having been in a motor vehicle accident 5 months prior. No abnormalities are present on these sagittal images. The cervical and upper thoracic canals are widely patent. Axial gradient imaging (C) is optimal for evaluation of the cervical nerve roots.
