Orbital mass (post-treatment photograph)

After the diagnosis of limited granulomatosis polyangiitis was made, the patient was treated by a pediatric rheumatologist. This photograph was taken 6 weeks after initiation of oral prednisone treatment (note the facial fullness). The ptosis is spontaneously resolving, and the levator excursion has returned to near normal. The orbital mass is no longer palpable. (Contributed by Dr. Mark Duffy.)
