Single calcified neurocysticercosis (CT)

Computed tomography of brain revealed a dot-like hyperdense lesion with perifocal edema. The patient presented with recurrent seizures and required antiepileptics. Calcified lesions represent healed cysts, so albendazole is not needed. Seizures in these patients are usually easily controllable. (Contributed by Dr. Ravindra Kumar Garg.)
