Autonomic status epilepticus in a child with Panayiotopoulos syndrome (video-EEG)

Top: High amplitude spikes-slow waves are recorded from the bifrontal regions prior to the onset of the electrical discharge, which is also purely bifrontal. Bottom: First clinical symptoms with 3 to 4 coughs and marked tachycardia appeared 13 minutes from the onset of the electrical discharge, when this had become diffuse.
