Typical absence in juvenile myoclonic epilepsy (EEG)

EEG sample of a video-EEG from a 15-year-old girl who was erroneously assessed as having a first generalized tonic-clonic seizures. An experienced technician assessed that she also had absences and myoclonic jerks of juvenile myoclonic epilepsy. Absences were confirmed with this video-EEG. Numbers annotate breath-counting.
