Ali Osman is a second-year medical student at the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in Columbus, Ohio. He earned his degree in Systems and Behavioral Neuroscience from The Ohio State University, graduating with high distinction. His academic interests include stroke recovery, movement disorders, and patient-centered neurocritical care.
Ali is actively involved in neurosurgery and neuro-oncology research through leading institutions such as the Mayo Clinic, Duke University, and Johns Hopkins. He has presented his work at statewide medical conferences and remains committed to integrating clinical practice with storytelling. Through his writing and advocacy, he seeks to elevate the voices of underserved communities and humanize the patient experience in medicine.
