Stanley Fahn MD discusses with Dr. Joseph Jankovic the influences and milestones in his illustrious career as a pioneering clinician-researcher in the field of movement disorders. Dr. Fahn is the H. Houston Merritt Professor Emeritus of Neurology and Director Emeritus of the Center for Parkinson’s Disease and Other Movement Disorders at Columbia University, where he was an attending neurologist at New York Presbyterian Hospital. He retired from Columbia University on Jan 1, 2021, after 57 years of teaching, research, and patient care. His major research interest has been in experimental therapeutics, and he has participated in many clinical trials, especially in Parkinson disease.
