Dr. Jamshidi received his Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science and Neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego and earned his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City. He completed his residency in Anatomic Pathology at the University of Chicago - NorthShore. Dr. Jamshidi is a diplomate of the American Board of Pathology. He has co-authored multiple original manuscripts and a book chapter. Dr. Jamshidi is the recipient of American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Subspecialty Grant, American Association of Neuropathologists (AANP) Neurodegenerative Scholars, The Leonard P. Tow Humanism in Medicine Award, David Rogers Medal in Health Policy and Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) Exceptional Research, among others.
