Toxoplasmosis 1

In the active form of toxoplasmosis there is a granulomatous reaction in the choroid that appears as a white elevated lesion surrounded by an inflammatory cell reaction in the retina and vitreous, giving rise to the description of the ophthalmoscopic presentation as a "headlight in the fog."
