Cerebral venous thrombosis in infants and children
Seizures and encephalopathy are the major presenting feature in infants and children with cerebral sinovenous thrombosis, with raised intracranial pressure developing gradually. Diagnosis is challenging due to nonspecific clinical features. Adverse neurologic effects include deficits in sensorimotor, language, cognitive and behavioral domains.
