Dr. Fernandes is a board-certified general pediatric neurologist caring for children with epilepsy, headaches, developmental delays, and neuromuscular conditions. She is fellowship trained in integrative medicine and focuses on holistic, family-centered care. She chose pediatric neurology for its intellectual diversity and the opportunity to serve children through patience, listening, and trust. She completed her child neurology residency at Duke University after earning her pediatrics residency from New York and her medical degree from Manipal College in Nepal. She is also an assistant professor of pediatrics and directs a nonprofit socio-spiritual organization.
