Dr. Del Brutto completed his neurology residency at the University of Chicago, vascular neurology fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami and holds a master’s degree in science from the Miami Clinical and Translational Science Institute.
His scholarly work includes over 120 peer-reviewed articles, with more than 50 as first or senior author, as well as numerous presentations at national and international conferences and contributions to book chapters and academic publications.
Dr. Del Brutto received the American Heart Association Career Development Award for his research on the mechanisms of ischemia in dolichoectasia-related stroke. He is also a Fellow of the American Heart Association Stroke Council.
