Intraoperative ceiling-mounted MRI

The MRI is on a ceiling-mounted track that permits rapid introduction into the operating room for intraoperative scanning. Major advantages of this system are (1) the instruments and anesthesia equipment are standard, ie, they do not need to non-ferromagnetic or MRI compatible; (2) the surgeons do not need to operate in the constrained field of a donut magnet.
