Aicardi syndrome in 4-month-old girl (MR)

Magnetic resonance of 4-month-old girl with Aicardi syndrome, coronal section shows midline retrocallosal neuroepithelial cyst abutting on the falx. Notice the difference of density of cyst fluid and surrounding CSF, proving the cyst to be isolated from the CSF. (Contributed by Dr. Peter Barth.)
