Zeiss OCT3

The Zeiss OCT 3 is a scanning laser interferometer that uses a low coherence red laser as a source of monochromatic light. It has the ability to produce pseudohistological cross sections of the retina with a reported 10µ resolution. This device has become an extremely valuable tool for the assessment of retinal pathology. (Contributed by Dr. James Walters.)
