Hyperintensities in acute disseminated encephalomyelitis and dual positivity for MOG and NMDAR antibodies (MRI)

Axial T2 FLAIR sequence MRI (A) showing bilateral posterior confluent hyperintensities, extending into the corpus callosum, restricted to the white matter, and involving the U-fibers. The hyperintensities are more prominent on the right (arrows) in a patient with relapsing acute disseminated encephalomyelitis and dual positivity for MOG (serum) and NMDAR antibodies (serum and CSF). (B) T1 post-contrast sequence from the same patient with correlated T1 hypointensities with associated enhancement (arrows). (Contributed by Dr. Lama Abdel Wahed.)
