Left hemispheric subdural empyema (MRI)

Gadolinium-enhanced MRI of a patient with left hemispheric subdural empyema. The empyema extends from the interhemispheric fissure over the convexity. There is extensive, significant left-to-right shift and compression of the left lateral ventricle. (Contributed by Dr. John Greenlee.)
