Proliferative diabetic retinopathy

In addition to the cotton-wool spots, hemorrhages, and exudates there is a nonvascular net located at the 5 o’clock position at the very bottom of the picture. Note also the gray spots just superior and temporal to the disc; these are laser burns from previous treatment (Contributed by Dr. Rosa Tang.)
