Bifurcated stenotic aqueduct in fetus

Microscopic view of bifurcated (forked), stenotic aqueduct in 29-week male fetus with ventriculomegaly and intrauterine demise. The branches of the anomalous aqueduct are separated by a band of gliotic tissue indicative of previous injury to the CNS. (Contributed by Dr. Joseph R Siebert.)
