Palmar nerve conduction studies in carpal tunnel syndrome

Palmar sensory nerve conduction study with stimulation in the palm and recording 8 cm proximal over the median and ulnar nerves shows a significant difference (0.6 msec) between the median (top) and ulnar (bottom) peak latency value. (Contributed by Dr. Francine Vriesendorp.)
