Advanced proliferative retinopathy

The neovascular net has grown into the vitreous and has formed a scaffold. If left untreated, vitreal traction will pull the neural retina from the retinal pigment epithelium leaving the eye totally blind (Contributed by Dr. Rosa Tang.)
