Simple partial seizure without EEG changes

This patient had aura followed by behavioral arrest, and he developed gesticulated fingers (dystonic) of the right hand. This EEG showed no focal abnormality. Normal EEG is common during simple partial seizure and does not exclude the diagnosis of epilepsy. Non-motor seizures have fewer ictal EEG changes than motor type.
