Electrocardiogram of a 22-year-old man with thyrotoxic periodic paralysis during an episode complicated by syncope. When the initial electrocardiogram showed sinus bradycardia (55 bpm) with incomplete right bundle branch block, the patient was treated with 500 micrograms of atropine was administered intravenously.
