Histopathology of progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy in a patient with AIDS. Foci of demyelination in the white matter, a few perivascular lymphocytes, astrocytes with bizarre nuclei, and dying oligodendroglia are apparent. (Contributed by Dr. Robert Wollmann, University of Chicago.)
