Gadolinium-enhanced T2-weighted MRI scan from above patient at the end of therapy showing resolution of the abscesses. Antibiotics were withdrawn one at a time, and the MRI was repeated 1 to 2 weeks after each drug was discontinued to rule out reappearance of any of the lesions.
