Chordoma of the third cervical vertebral body (MRI)

(A) T1-weighted (TR 500, TE 25), gadolinium-enhanced axial image demonstrating the enhancing mass arising from the C3 vertebral body and extending anteriorly towards the posterior aspect of the glossal musculature. (B) T1-weighted (TR 600, TE 20), nonenhanced midsagittal image demonstrating the mass as it extends anteriorly from the C3 vertebral body towards the glossal musculature.
