Chondroid chordoma of the clivus and skull base (MRI)

(A) T1-weighted (TR 600, TE 23), gadolinium-enhanced axial image though the level of the pons demonstrating the enhancing mass arising within the clivus and extending anteriorly into the nasopharynx. (B) T1-weighted (TR 500, TE 16), nonenhanced midsagittal image demonstrating the high-signal clival mass ventral to the pons and extending into the nasopharynx. (Contributed by Dr. Herbert Newton.)
