Cocaine-induced cerebral infarction indications in an infant (CT)

This 9-month-old infant has a right-side hemiparesis and hyperreflexia and is moderately microcephalic. The CT scan shows an extensive area of encephalomalacia in the left hemisphere in a distribution corresponding to the previous infarction. (Contributed by Dr. Daniel Bonthius.)
