Abnormal rhythmic delta activity in nonconvulsive status epilepticus after ECT (EEG)

A 29-year-old with no previous neurologic disease and a history of schizophrenia and refractory psychosis on clozapine developed nonconvulsive status epilepticus after electroconvulsive therapy. First EEG (sensitivity is 7 μV/mm) showed right temporal rhythmic delta activity spreading to the left homolog area three seconds later with an increase in amplitude. This activity lasted 15 seconds.
