Anaplastic transformation and pathological variation over time

Note pathologic changes in one patient with pleomorphic xanthoastrocytoma and an initial presentation of a Grade 2 pleomorphic xanthoastrocytoma, which transformed to Grade 3 pleomorphic xanthoastrocytoma with anaplastic features over time, and eventual salvage treatment effect manifested with lower mitosis rates and necrosis.
