Recurrent pleomorphic xanthoastrocytoma (MRI)

Recurrent tumor 18 months after initial resection in the same patient. On this T1-weighted MR image with gadolinium, an area of intense contrast enhancement is seen in the right superior temporal gyrus beside the previous resection cavity. (Contributed by Dr. Scott Mintzer.)
