Respiratory changes in response to laboratory administration of a nerve agent to a goat

A nerve agent was administered to a goat at the U.S. Army Edgewood Arsenal Chemical Research and Development Laboratories as an experiment to develop resuscitative measures for nerve agent casualties. This facility is now named The U.S. Army Edgewood Chemical Biological Center (ECBC) at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. It is the United States' principal research and development resource for nonmedical chemical and biological defense. (Source: United States Army video, "Minutes to Live" (1964).
