Childhood migraine (patient depiction)

This picture was drawn by 12-year-old boy. When narrating the picture, the boy explained that the man in the foreground holding his forehead and looking ill is himself as an adult; his soccer game has been interrupted by a headache. The noise from the birds flying in the sky and the barking of a dog exacerbate the headache, as does the bright sunlight. Another person in the picture is holding a soccer ball to indicate that playing soccer also exacerbates the headache. (Contributed by Dr. Raymond Kandt.)
