Migraine aura in childhood (patient depiction)

This picture was drawn by an 8-year-old boy who experienced a visual aura of silver spots lasting 2 or more minutes before the onset of midfrontal pounding headaches. His mother had the same aura, but it lasted 15 to 20 minutes. (Contributed by Dr. Raymond Kandt.)
