Hypertrophic retinal pigment epithelium (second type)

The second type of CHRPE are unilateral, multifocal, and clustered lesions of hypertrophy that are sometimes called "bear tracks." Their size is not always "track like" as seen by comparing the figures. (Contributed by Dr. James Walters.)
