(A) Macular OCT of central retinal vein occlusion shows thickening of the foveal region in cystoid macular edema. Small cystic spaces are evident in the outer plexiform layer, with loss of the normal foveal depression. The hyperreflectivity of the inner retina is due to ischemia. (B) Normal macular OCT.
