MRI shows multiple cortical petechial hemorrhages on T2-weighted (top panels) and gradient refocused echo (bottom panels) sequences. Arrowheads indicate areas of hemosiderin deposition indicative of prior hemorrhage; arrows show evidence of prior hemorrhage seen on gradient refocused echo but not T2-weighted sequence.
