Acute subdural hematoma (CT)

Non-enhanced CT showing a large crescent shaped acute subdural hematoma on the left side. High signal intensity is caused by acute blood accumulation. There is effacement of ventricle on same side along with midline shift and subfalcine herniation. (Contributed by Dr. Ravindra Kumar Garg.)
