Axial CE orbital CT section displayed in brain window. A smooth pathologically enhancing extraaxial mass coats the abnormal sphenoid bone. It is fairly common to find such secondary extension into dura from bone metastases. Although this was a solitary metastasis, surgery could not be performed due to its location.
