Epidermoid mass (MRI)

A mass within the fourth ventricle extends through the foramina of Luschka into the cerebellopontine angles, measuring 5.4 x 3.5 x 5.0 cm. It mildly effaces the dorsal aspect of the medulla but does not result in hydrocephalus. It has low T1 signal and high T2 signal; it does not enhance significantly, and it has dramatically restricted diffusion. (A) T2-weighted image; (B) T1 with contrast; (C) DWI (D) ADC map.
