Operative view during transoral (transtonsillar) styloidectomy

A 34-year-old woman presented to the hospital with a 1-year history of dull aching pain on the left side of her neck below the ear. The pain did not respond to the various analgesics and increased on swallowing. Her symptoms resolved after left transtonsillar styloidectomy. (Source: Priyamvada S, Singh H, Parnami P, et al.
