CDG syndromes affecting N-linked glycosylation

The table summarizes the symptoms that have been described in respective CDG subtype in N- or N/O-linked CDGs. ++ indicates a symptom that the majority of patients in the subtype presents, + indicates a symptom that several but not the majority of patients in a specific subtype present and (+) indicates a symptom that has been described but is uncommon in a specific subtype, or that less than 3 patients have been found in that particular group. FTT - failure to thrive; PLE – protein losing enteropathy; dysmorphic features include facial and skeletal dysmorphisms, lipodystrophy and inverted nipples. (Contributed by Dr. Erik A Eklund.)
