Scalp EEG with about 1-per-second repetitive sharp-slow-waves in both anterior temporal regions; the right side precedes the left by 300 ms. The patient had been aura- and seizure-free for 20 years following a right selective amygdalohippocampectomy. Histology revealed a small schwannoma in the right. The EEG normalized within 6 months postoperatively including the dependent left-sided "mirror focus." (Contributed by Dr. Heinz Gregor Wieser.)
