Forty-three-year-old male with the complaint of left-sided hearing loss and double vision. Axial T1-weighted (TR 900/TE 15), enhanced MRI at the level of the lower pons, demonstrating a medium-sized, cisternal, vestibular schwannoma in the left cerebellopontine angle. The tumor enhances diffusely. Note the portion of tumor that tapers laterally toward the porus acusticus. (Contributed by Dr. Herbert Newton.)
