Mevalonic aciduria (MRI)

Cerebral magnetic resonance imaging of a patient with mevalonic aciduria at 5.8 years of age. Coronal section displaying marked atrophy of the hemispheres and the upper vermis of the cerebellum. The lower vermis is totally missing. Spin echo technique 1.0 T: time of repetition 2460 milliseconds, time of echo 30 milliseconds, time of inversion 600 milliseconds, slice thickness 9 mm.
