Astronaut candidates experience weightlessness in the KC-135

This August 1995 photo aboard a KC-135 zero-g aircraft carrying that year's class of NASA astronaut candidates depicts the kind of training required to prepare astronauts for flights on assigned missions in space. Those pictured are (from the left, top row) Frederick W Sturckow, Rick D Husband, Dafydd R (Dave) Williams Jr, Stephen K Robinson, Kalpana C Chawla, and Takao Doi and (bottom row, left to right) Michel Tognini, Carlos I Noriega, Susan L Still, Janet L Kavandi, Michael P Anderson, and Joe F Edwards.
