Impaired smooth pursuits in spinocerebellar ataxia type 3

This video demonstrates saccadic or jerky pursuits when the patient performs left and right horizontal pursuits. Also, gaze-evoked nystagmus is demonstrated on extreme left and right gaze. Note that amplitudes of the nystagmus are larger when the patient looks to the left. (Contributed by Dr. Pichet Termsarasab.)
